La Paradoja del Bibliotecario en la Escuela Mexicana"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>El Pizarr\u00f3n Cr\u00edtico: An\u00e1lisis de fondo<\/h2>\n<p>Recientemente, el <a href='https:\/\/www.gaceta.unam.mx\/el-guardian-del-libro-una-historia-del-bibliotecario-en-mexico\/'>IISUE UNAM<\/a> llev\u00f3 a cabo el conversatorio <strong>\u201cEl guardi\u00e1n del libro: una historia del bibliotecario en M\u00e9xico\u201d<\/strong>. Este encuentro no fue un simple repaso cronol\u00f3gico, sino un intento por reivindicar la figura del bibliotecario, rescat\u00e1ndolo de la etiqueta de &#8216;operador administrativo&#8217; para posicionarlo como un agente activo, estrat\u00e9gico y central en la construcci\u00f3n y circulaci\u00f3n del conocimiento en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<h2>El bibliotecario: De la t\u00e9cnica colonial a la mediaci\u00f3n cultural<\/h2>\n<p>El an\u00e1lisis hist\u00f3rico nos revela que el oficio del bibliotecario en M\u00e9xico ha transitado por diversas etapas de complejidad. Desde el siglo XVIII, ya exist\u00edan funciones de alta especializaci\u00f3n: el control de inventarios, la gesti\u00f3n de adquisiciones internacionales y el resguardo f\u00edsico de acervos que eran, en esencia, la memoria de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de los siglos, el perfil laboral evolucion\u00f3. Lo que comenz\u00f3 como una labor desempe\u00f1ada por cl\u00e9rigos o estudiantes bajo esquemas de becas, se transform\u00f3 en el siglo XX en una profesi\u00f3n consolidada. Un punto nodal en esta evoluci\u00f3n fue la <strong>feminizaci\u00f3n de la bibliotecolog\u00eda<\/strong>, vinculada a la apertura de espacios educativos y laborales para las mujeres.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n  El bibliotecario no es un simple repositorio de libros, sino un protector \u00e9tico frente a tres amenazas constantes: el olvido, la censura y la p\u00e9rdida f\u00edsica.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Esta visi\u00f3n culmin\u00f3 con la evidencia dejada por la pandemia de 2020, donde las bibliotecas demostraron ser infraestructuras cr\u00edticas para garantizar que la academia no se detuviera, actuando como puentes de mediaci\u00f3n cultural y estudio.<\/p>\n<h2>La Realidad Escolar: \u00bfD\u00f3nde queda el &#8216;Guardi\u00e1n&#8217; en el aula?<\/h2>\n<p>Desde la \u00f3ptica de <em>El Pizarr\u00f3n Cr\u00edtico<\/em>, es imperativo contrastar esta visi\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica con la realidad que viven los directivos y docentes en las escuelas p\u00fablicas y privadas de M\u00e9xico. Mientras la teor\u00eda nos habla de un <strong>\u00abcolaborador pedag\u00f3gico\u00bb<\/strong> y un <strong>\u00abactor estrat\u00e9gico\u00bb<\/strong>, la pr\u00e1ctica cotidiana suele presentar un escenario muy distinto.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfCu\u00e1ntas escuelas en M\u00e9xico cuentan realmente con un bibliotecario profesional? En la mayor\u00eda de los planteles, la biblioteca es un espacio f\u00edsico que ha sido asignado a un docente con carga horaria reducida o, peor a\u00fan, se ha convertido en un dep\u00f3sito de libros de texto obsoletos y mobiliario en desuso. El \u00abguardi\u00e1n\u00bb en la realidad escolar suele ser un maestro abrumado por la carga administrativa, para quien la gesti\u00f3n del acervo es una tarea secundaria frente a la presi\u00f3n de los reportes y la planeaci\u00f3n did\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n<p>Surge entonces una contradicci\u00f3n socr\u00e1tica: <strong>Si aceptamos que la biblioteca es una infraestructura cr\u00edtica e insustituible, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 su gesti\u00f3n se sigue percibiendo como un gasto administrativo y no como una inversi\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El riesgo es que la \u00abmediaci\u00f3n cultural\u00bb se quede en el papel. Cuando el bibliotecario es visto solo como quien \u00abcuida los libros\u00bb o \u00abmantiene el silencio\u00bb, se anula su capacidad de combatir la censura y el olvido. En el contexto mexicano, la brecha entre el ideal del IISUE y la realidad del aula es la distancia entre tener un repositorio de papel y poseer un centro vivo de aprendizaje.<\/p>\n<p>Para transformar esta realidad, es necesario dejar de ver la biblioteca como un anexo del edificio escolar y empezar a verla como el n\u00facleo donde el maestro y el bibliotecario co-dise\u00f1an la alfabetizaci\u00f3n informacional del estudiante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Para el debate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.
