Como bien se\u00f1ala la obra, casos como el del IPN nos demuestran que la excelencia y la funci\u00f3n social pueden sostenerse incluso cuando el marco jur\u00eddico es distinto. La autonom\u00eda no es est\u00e1tica; ha pasado de las tensiones post-revolucionarias en 1935, con el cuestionamiento de C\u00e1rdenas sobre el compromiso social, hasta su elevaci\u00f3n constitucional en 1980. La lecci\u00f3n es clara: la universidad solo sobrevive cuando logra equilibrar su independencia pol\u00edtica con su deuda ineludible hacia las necesidades del pueblo.<\/p>\nLa Realidad Escolar: \u00bfD\u00f3nde queda el piso parejo?<\/h2>\n
Al aterrizar este debate a lo que realmente ocurre en las escuelas de M\u00e9xico, surge una contradicci\u00f3n inevitable. Mientras en la c\u00fapula acad\u00e9mica debatimos sobre la libertad de c\u00e1tedra y la autonom\u00eda institucional, el docente frente a grupo en la educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y media superior vive una realidad donde la ‘autonom\u00eda’ se siente lejana, casi abstracta. <\/p>\n
La autonom\u00eda universitaria es un lujo institucional que, en la trinchera del aula, se traduce a menudo en un desaf\u00edo de gesti\u00f3n: \u00bfc\u00f3mo ejercer la libertad pedag\u00f3gica cuando la carga administrativa, la verticalidad de las autoridades educativas y la presi\u00f3n de los resultados estandarizados dictan la agenda diaria? Si la universidad es un proyecto moral y nacional, como sugiere el Dr. Casanova, \u00bfestamos preparando a los docentes para ser pensadores aut\u00f3nomos o simplemente ejecutores de programas que cambian con cada sexenio? La autonom\u00eda es el ox\u00edgeno del pensamiento cr\u00edtico; sin embargo, en el sistema educativo mexicano, los maestros a menudo operan en un entorno donde la autonom\u00eda est\u00e1 supeditada a la burocracia, lo que genera un desfase peligroso entre el discurso de la libertad acad\u00e9mica y la pr\u00e1ctica cotidiana de la subordinaci\u00f3n institucional.<\/p>\n
