En el panorama educativo mexicano, la eficiencia terminal se ha convertido en el t\u00f3tem de la gesti\u00f3n institucional. Sin embargo, bajo el brillo de las cifras que prometen metas al 2030, se esconde una realidad lacerante: la deserci\u00f3n universitaria no es solo un n\u00famero, sino el s\u00edntoma de una desconexi\u00f3n profunda entre el aparato administrativo y la vida del estudiante. Basado en el an\u00e1lisis publicado por Educaci\u00f3n Futura<\/a>, exploramos hoy por qu\u00e9 nuestras instituciones parecen estar m\u00e1s preocupadas por la burocracia que por la formaci\u00f3n humana.<\/p>\n

La arquitectura del abandono: \u00bfgesti\u00f3n o estad\u00edstica?<\/h2>\n

El documento analizado expone una verdad inc\u00f3moda: la deserci\u00f3n se nutre de causas externas, pero se cristaliza mediante fallas internas. La instituci\u00f3n moderna, al priorizar la norma sobre la persona, ha normalizado el ‘s\u00edndrome de la reprobaci\u00f3n’<\/strong>. Cuando un alumno demuestra capacidad acad\u00e9mica pero tropieza con crisis socioecon\u00f3micas o emocionales, la respuesta institucional suele ser el formato de ‘baja definitiva’ en lugar del acompa\u00f1amiento.<\/p>\n

Esta din\u00e1mica revela una deficiencia estructural: la comunicaci\u00f3n es unidireccional y punitiva. Las universidades se han convertido en expertas en el llenado de formatos, pero en aprendices constantes en el arte de la retenci\u00f3n estudiantil. Se confunde la eficiencia con la vigilancia financiera, dejando de lado el diagn\u00f3stico de lo que ocurre realmente en el aula.<\/p>\n

La Realidad Escolar: Entre el formato y la vocaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n

En las aulas mexicanas, esta teor\u00eda choca con una realidad asfixiante. Los maestros y directivos se enfrentan a un sistema que les exige ‘calidad’ mediante indicadores num\u00e9ricos que no reflejan el curr\u00edculum vivido<\/strong>. \u00bfCu\u00e1ntas veces el docente de nivel superior se siente atado de manos al ver c\u00f3mo un alumno talentoso se va, no por falta de capacidad, sino por falta de flexibilidad en un reglamento que no distingue entre un estudiante que abandona por desinter\u00e9s y uno que cae ante la precariedad?<\/p>\n

La carga administrativa es, a menudo, el muro que impide que el tutor sea realmente un gu\u00eda. En muchas instituciones, el trabajo colegiado ha muerto bajo el peso de los informes trimestrales. La pregunta que surge en la trinchera docente es: \u00bfEstamos formando profesionales o estamos gestionando una l\u00ednea de ensamblaje donde el que no cumple con el ritmo administrativo es descartado para ‘limpiar’ las estad\u00edsticas de reprobaci\u00f3n? La brecha entre lo que dicta la pol\u00edtica educativa y lo que vive el profesor en el sal\u00f3n de clases es, hoy, una de las mayores crisis de nuestra educaci\u00f3n superior.<\/p>\n

\u00bfEs la eficiencia terminal un indicador de \u00e9xito educativo o simplemente una herramienta para ocultar la incapacidad institucional de retener y apoyar al talento en riesgo?<\/em><\/p>\n
