Revista UNAM Global<\/a> y la voz de Gabriela de la Cruz Flores, directora del IISUE, la autonom\u00eda no es un privilegio est\u00e1tico, sino una condici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica que garantiza la libertad de c\u00e1tedra y la autogesti\u00f3n frente a cualquier injerencia externa.<\/p>\nLa naturaleza de la autonom\u00eda y su ejercicio<\/h2>\n
La autonom\u00eda universitaria, consolidada el 26 de julio de 1929, no debe entenderse como un aislamiento, sino como un ejercicio de responsabilidad social. Seg\u00fan el an\u00e1lisis del IISUE, esta libertad se manifiesta en la capacidad de decidir planes de estudio, procesos de investigaci\u00f3n y gobernanza interna. Con 134 carreras y 263 opciones educativas, la universidad se posiciona como una estructura que, bajo el amparo constitucional del Art\u00edculo Tercero, debe equilibrar su tradici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica con una modernizaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica ineludible, integrando las nuevas perspectivas de las juventudes del siglo XXI.<\/p>\n
La Realidad Escolar: \u00bfAutonom\u00eda o carga administrativa?<\/h2>\n
Al contrastar este ideal con la cotidianidad de los docentes y directivos en el sistema educativo mexicano, surge una disonancia inevitable. Mientras la UNAM celebra el derecho al autogobierno y la libertad de c\u00e1tedra, \u00bfqu\u00e9 sucede en las aulas de nivel b\u00e1sico y medio superior? El docente promedio en M\u00e9xico se enfrenta a una estructura donde la ‘autonom\u00eda’ a menudo se ve asfixiada por una pesada carga administrativa y una centralizaci\u00f3n normativa que dicta, casi minuto a minuto, c\u00f3mo debe darse la ense\u00f1anza.<\/p>\n
La libertad de c\u00e1tedra<\/strong>, defendida con tanto ah\u00ednco en el \u00e1mbito universitario, parece desvanecerse en otros niveles educativos, donde el profesor se convierte m\u00e1s en un ejecutor de programas estandarizados que en un creador de conocimiento. \u00bfPodemos exigir pensamiento cr\u00edtico y pertinencia social en las universidades si los cimientos educativos previos han sido uniformados bajo presiones pol\u00edticas o administrativas que limitan la creatividad pedag\u00f3gica? El reto de la autonom\u00eda no es solo legal; es una cuesti\u00f3n de cultura escolar donde, a menudo, la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica llega mucho despu\u00e9s que las exigencias burocr\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\u00bfC\u00f3mo puede un docente ejercer una verdadera autonom\u00eda en su aula cuando el sistema premia la estandarizaci\u00f3n y la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas administrativa sobre la innovaci\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Reflexiones para el debate:<\/strong><\/p>\n1. \u00bfEs posible trasladar el concepto de ‘autonom\u00eda responsable’ de la universidad p\u00fablica hacia los niveles de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, o la burocratizaci\u00f3n del sistema lo hace estructuralmente imposible?<\/p>\n
