La autonom\u00eda universitaria, consolidada tras la Ley Org\u00e1nica de 1929, no es solo un marco jur\u00eddico protegido por el Art\u00edculo Tercero constitucional; es la salvaguarda del pensamiento cr\u00edtico. Como se\u00f1ala Gabriela de la Cruz Flores, directora del IISUE, la autonom\u00eda permite a la instituci\u00f3n decidir sus propios planes de estudio y procesos de investigaci\u00f3n sin injerencias externas. Con 134 carreras vigentes, la UNAM se mantiene como un referente de la capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y social que, en teor\u00eda, toda instituci\u00f3n educativa deber\u00eda emular para no quedar obsoleta ante los retos globales.<\/p>\n
Al contrastar esta visi\u00f3n con la realidad de los maestros y directivos en el M\u00e9xico profundo, surge una interrogante inevitable: \u00bfExiste realmente la autonom\u00eda cuando la carga administrativa y la verticalidad de la gesti\u00f3n escolar parecen ahogar el pensamiento cr\u00edtico? Para muchos docentes en el sistema de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y media superior, la \u00abautonom\u00eda\u00bb de la que goza una universidad de \u00e9lite suena a un concepto distante. En las aulas reales, el maestro enfrenta la presi\u00f3n de curr\u00edculos impuestos desde el centro, la falta de presupuesto para la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y una burocracia que exige el llenado de formatos por encima de la libertad creativa.<\/p>\n
La autonom\u00eda no debe ser un refugio de \u00e9lite, sino una pr\u00e1ctica pedag\u00f3gica que permee todos los niveles del sistema educativo mexicano.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
La autonom\u00eda, tal como se vive en la UNAM, exige una gesti\u00f3n responsable del autogobierno. Sin embargo, en el resto de la estructura escolar mexicana, los directivos suelen ser receptores de directrices que limitan su capacidad de decidir seg\u00fan su contexto local. Mientras la UNAM discute sobre su vanguardia tecnol\u00f3gica, muchos directivos en el pa\u00eds a\u00fan luchan por condiciones m\u00ednimas de infraestructura, lo que nos obliga a cuestionar si estamos construyendo un sistema educativo equitativo o una serie de islas de excelencia rodeadas de un oc\u00e9ano de carencias.<\/p>\n
La preservaci\u00f3n de la autonom\u00eda no deber\u00eda ser una batalla exclusiva de las grandes universidades, sino una aspiraci\u00f3n leg\u00edtima de cada centro escolar para responder a las realidades de sus comunidades.<\/p>\n
